Instructions

  1. Put the flour in a bowl and stir in seasoning.
  2. Make a well in the middle of the flour, break eggs into it.
  3. Beat the eggs, gradually bringing flour in from the sides of the well.
  4. Beat in the milk.
  5. Put a nob of fat into each tin used.
  6. Add the dripping or lard to your pudding tins and heat at 220C (425F) Gas 7 for about 4 minutes until very hot.
  7. When the fat is hot, pour the batter in. Return to oven and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
