Orange and Cranberry Biscuits

We love these biscuits as they make a great gift or Christmas decoration (insert a hole using a skewer when they come out of the oven if you want to thread with string and then hang on the tree). Kids will also love decorating them too.

Instructions

  1. Pre heat oven to 200˚C/Fan 180˚C/Gas 6. Grease and line 2 baking sheets
  2. Melt together butter, sugar and honey in a large saucepan, cool slightly
  3. Sift together flour and spice, stir into liquid, add cranberries, zest and egg. Beat well until smooth.
  4. Chill in the fridge until firm.
  5. Roll out to 5mm thick and cut out using Christmas cutters. Transfer to baking sheet carefully. Bake 12-15 mins until just golden.
  6. Cool slightly, then transfer to wire rack. Decorate.
