  1. Place all the ingredients except the lemon juice and cream into a large saucepan.
  2. Bring to the boil, whisking continuously over a moderate heat. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat, add the lemon juice and stir well.
  4. Serve immediately with a sprinkling of chopped parsley.
