These Valentine’s Pizza Hearts are simple, homemade and perfect for sharing. Soft dough made with St. Helen’s Farm goat’s butter, shaped into cute hearts, then topped with creamy goat’s cheese and colourful veg.

🧀 Topping ideas

• Crumbled St. Helen’s Farm goat’s cheese (optional mozzarella)
• Cherry tomatoes, red peppers, beetroot, spinach or rocket
• Optional extras: honey drizzle, figs or caramelised onions
• Finish with herbs, black pepper and a little melted goat’s butter

Instructions

  1. Mix warm water and sugar, sprinkle over yeast and leave 5–10 mins until frothy.
  2. Combine flour and salt, add yeast mixture and goat’s butter, mix to form a dough.
  3. Knead for 8–10 mins until smooth.
  4. Cover and leave to rise for 45–60 mins until doubled.
  5. Roll out, cut into heart shapes.
  6. Optional: brush with melted goat’s butter and bake at 220°C / 425°F for 5 mins.
  7. Top and bake for 12–15 mins until golden and bubbly.
