Plants growing in St. Helens' Farm Goats Milk Yogurt pots

Grow a plant!

Yoghurt pots are the ideal size for sowing seeds. Before using them you will need to punch some drainage holes into the bottom, ask a grown up to help you with this part.

Then, fill the bottom with compost and with your fingers create a little hole, pop your seeds in, then cover with more compost. Pop in a sunny spot, make sure to give your seed plenty of water and wait for it to grow!

Spooky milk cartons!

Make someone jump by making a spoooooky figure out of your Milk Carton! Paint your milk carton a creepy colour, using a glue stick add on extra features.

Remember: ask a grown-up for help when you’re cutting with scissors.

A tiara made from St. Helens Farm Butter foil

Butter foil tiara

Make sure your Butter foil is nice and clean. Cut your foil in half. Cut one of those halves into strips, measure the strips around your head and use a glue stick or sticky tape so stick the strips together. (You might need help doing this).

Then, on  the unused half of the foil draw your favourite tiara pattern and cut it out.

key tip: if you fold the piece in half, and draw your pattern, and cut it whilst still folded, it will come out symmetrical on both sides!

Once cut into your wanted tiara shape (remember to ask a grown-up for help if you need help cutting), colour in with your favourite colours.
Stick the front part of your Tiara on the band and you’re all ready for the ball!

Save up your ice lolly’s and create some tractors!

Place your ice lolly’s in a row to make the tractor body. Using either smaller sticks, or a rectangle piece of paper, place it at the top of the sticks, then paint it your favourite colour.

Using either some blue craft paper or felt, lay on top to be the windows. Make yourself some wheels and exhaust and stick to the tractor.

Animals made from yogurt pots

Animal pots

Why not decorate your empty yogurt pots to your favourite animal. We used an old milk carton to create the features of a rabbit and a duckling (remember if cutting, ask a grown-up for help).

Use your favourite colours to make them stand out! You can use the pot either to plant some seeds, or store your pencils, or your secret items!
