Nature Art Competition Winners!

This Summer we collaborated with The Works to engage Children in taking part in a Nature Art Competition, to engage Children in creativity and craft but to also be in with a chance of winning £100 worth of arts & crafts goodies from The Works.

The competition was open to kids aged 5-8 and 9-12, and what a response we had. So, sit back and enjoy the gallery of entries that were sent to us. Thank you to each and every one of you for entering & huge congratulations to our two winners!

Our goats

The real stars are our goat’s here at St Helen’s Farm.

We have 3 different breeds; the British Saanen, the British Toggenburg, and the British Alpine. Each breed has their own special traits and own personality:

Saanen

  • White in colour
  • Peaceful and quiet
  • Intelligent, Inquisitive, Affectionate

Toggenburg

  • Mostly brown coat with white markings
  • Daring and mischievous
  • Loving and social

Alpine

  • Jet black coat with white markings
  • Independent
  • aristocratic character
