Re: What a difference
Posted by: Kim Dunton
I haven't been able to have anything with cows milk in for almost two years now and have recently found the wonder of SHF Goats Yoghurt! I have this everyday with Weetabix and fruit and it is a great combination as well as filling. I have just found the website and am looking forward to making the yummy recipies mentioned! Thank you!!!!! I just wish all supermarkets stocked all your goods!

Just to say that having started using your products, my psoriasis has become so much better - much less obvious and much less itchy.
Great stuff!

Re: allergic
Posted by: Crystal
Just over a year ago i was told i was allergic to dairy as milk contains grass which I am also allergic to. I was gutted to hear this news and started hunting around for things i could eat i found some jam tarts and a few crisps but it was very difficult when it came to dinners. I have to make them from scratch as so many things contain dairy, the problem was i needed milk! i tried Soya milk and i found it disguisting! My mum then offered goats milk i tried this and i loved it! from now on i use goats milk in everything and it is healthier! i just wish that you would make custard and ice cream and all the things i cant eat :(

Just wanted to say thank you. I switched from cows milk to goats milk a few months ago after my psorasis was particularly sore and red. It's now practically completely disappeared! Am off in search of the goats cheddar cheese now!

Re: Very pleased

I started to have an intolerance to cow's milk about 2 years ago and automatically switched to soya. I recently got so fed up of everything being overpowered by the taste of the soya (and it curdling in hot drinks) I thought I'd give your milk a try. I am so pleased with the results that I am telling anyone who will listen :-) My hot drinks taste how they should and my cereal is edible once again!

Re: organic

Your milk and butter tastes just wonderful. I think it would be great if
you could get organic certification i am sure many more people would
be tempted to try it then. Also I love the picture of the cute goat on your
logo.

Could you try to get your milk into waitrose? At the moment they sell your butter but the milk is from some other farm and it is in nasty plastic bottles. We much prefer the environmentally friendly cardboard boxes.

You really come across as a very lovely company.

Thank you sooooooooooooooo much for producing your cheese, yoghurt and butter.
Having had a cows milk allergy for the last l5years is was wonderful to again be able to have real cheese etc
My daughter also has the same allergy and is pleased to be able to have pizza topped with goats cheese.
This may sound very silly, but it is actually life changing to again be able to eat the foods I love.
Thanks again for making food tasty again.

Re: Your thoughts on green?
Posted by: Ryan
Hi everyone-

Apologies in advance for a post that's a bit off topic; in addition to being a fan of St. Helen's products I'm also a media researcher at the London School of Economics. I'm conducting a study on people who make healthy lifestyle choices (especially buying organic!) and how they receive and react to information on other so-called 'green' issues--particularly energy efficiency. I'm hoping you might be willing to help me out.

I've posted a brief web survey on the topic; it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to complete, is mostly multiple choice, and of course entirely anonymous. The link is here: http://www.questionpro.com/akira/TakeSurvey?id=988583

Thanks for considering this! Happy to answer any questions before or after the survey; feel free to send me an email directly at r.cunningham@lse.ac.uk.

Cheers, Ryan

Re: Goats Cream
Posted by: St Helen's Farm
Our goats cream is stocked in many Waitrose stores and some larger Tesco stores. There are Waitrose stores at Tonbridge and Sevenoaks, you may wish to phone them before making a journey to check the cream is in stock. Also, the cream should be available in Tesco stores at Ashford, Broadstairs and Sidcup. We hope this helps, but any problems please call our helpline on 01430 861715.

Re: Goats' Cream Cheese

In reply to Isabelle from London

We do not manufacture a goats' cream cheese. Many of the larger supermarkets do stock a spreadable goats' cheese.

Re: Low Fat Yogurt
Posted by: St. Helen's Farm
Our method fro making yogurt is designed to produce a thick and creamy tasting product using fresh goats' milk and is not suited to the production of low fat products. Some low fat yogurts are made with the use of starches and thickeners in order to thicken the texture. This is not a method we advocate for making good yogurt.

Thank you so much for producing skimmed milk. Any chance of a fat free or lower fat natural live yogurt ?
